Sift was founded in the Pacific Northwest by a small team who cares deeply about what we eat and what we're exposed to. We live in a place known for clean air, clear water, and food grown close to home, and that has shaped how we see things. We want what goes into and onto our bodies to be as honest and clean as the place we come from.
We care about health and well-being, not as a passing trend, but as the foundation of a good life. We believe that fewer unnecessary chemicals lead to healthier bodies. And when the body is healthier, the mind tends to follow: more energy, more clarity, a greater sense of ease. Over time, small and steady choices can genuinely improve how you feel and how you live.
None of us were taught how to read an ingredient list, or what the words on the back of a package really mean. That isn't anyone's fault. The information is hard to find, and harder to understand. But we've seen what happens when it becomes clear: once you can see plainly what's in something, you can decide for yourself whether it belongs in your life. Knowing is what makes better choices possible.
We know the world of health and food can be confusing. There are countless labels, unfamiliar ingredients, and claims that sound reassuring but don't always mean much. It's easy to feel overwhelmed. But we've come to believe that it can be navigated, one product and one choice at a time. If you've decided to pay closer attention to what you eat and what you use, we think that's worth being proud of.
